Bella Terra
Premium
Property Enhancements was
originally started as Bella Bell Design Group in early 2002
by Jeff
Bell.
In
March of 2006, Mark
& Barbara Shelby purchased Bella Terra and are the sole
owners. The company is officially known as Bella Terra
Environmental, LLC, doing business as Bella Terra and as Bella Terra
Premium Property Enhancements.
Mark
Shelby served as
the
Urban Horticulture Extension Agent for
the University of Florida/IFAS
Extension Service in Sarasota
County for over seven years. As an
Extension Agent, Mark
trained the
Florida
Master Gardeners
and expanded the Florida Yards & Neighborhoods
Program
in Sarasota County. Mark has a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Agriculture
and a Master of Science Degree in Horticultural Science. Both
degrees
were earned at the University of Florida.
Prior to working for
UF/IFAS Sarasota
County Extension, Mark served in various management and staff
capacities
in landscape and agricultural
professions throughout
the
Southeast. In
October of 2004, Mark joined
the former Bella Bell Design Group team as General Manager and later
became
an owner in
the company. At that time they changed their doing business as
name to Bella Terra. Following our purchase of Bella Bell, Mark
now
serves as President and General Manager of
Bella Terra. You

Barbara Shelby
is
a former middle
school
and high school science teacher with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Horticulture
from the University of Florida. She serves as Vice President of
the company and assists in management and marketing.
Other staff include Dwayne Peppers
and Nathan Lindsey as our most
valuable and contributing members of our crew team. Michael Buck handles sales and can
